Current series. Diplomatic plates are black on white, have a numeric Embassy code (57 = The Netherlands) and two or three letters. This is followed by a serial number, except on an Ambassador’s car which does not have one. Privately owned cars usually have 10 to 99 and official cars from 100 up. Newer plates have the Zimbabwe bird embossed between the code and letters.
